Porridge King - Daly City

Everytime I come to Pacifica/HMB I stop here to bring a bunch of food home to Stockton. Their roast duck is really good. And pretty much everything I've tried there is good.

The only thing I tried was pig kidney and liver porridge. However, it’s the best porridge I’ve ever had in years.

Old school type of Cantonese eatery.... it offers a wide variety of food to choose from, good place to fill your stomach. It’s a casual spot for a quick meal, decent food but don’t expect to receive world class service or any unreal expectations.

Chinese porridge is inexpensive $6 for small bowl) and makes a nice light lunch on a cold day which is most days in Daly City). Some of the porridge flavors are bland; I wish they used more herbs or vegetables to add more flavor. You can get a Chinese donut $3 in plenty for 2 people), but that's a one-dimensional flavor.

Children love this place and we? ve come here years, still good as last time. Well made beef Chow fun, good food.
