Foods over expensive little risotto without ingredients chf22, non-existent desert cheap ice in plastic tub had to eat own supply bedroom very basic bed rock hard bad sleep in Europe in 3 weeks breakfast very bad, dried... Breads, jams, the Sieghurts, which it will not recommend will no longer stay

My wife and I had dinner at the Hotel des Alpes, with a friend to celebrate our 51st anniversary. We arrived early to notice that there were no cartridges inside the restaurant. A table for three had set at a very bad place for us and we asked if we could be moved to another place. We were told empathically to the NO, although we were drawn to another table. We sat and got no menu, but were told to the evening dishes that were very limited that what is shown on this restaurant website. We were offered the choice of only 3 appetizers and 2 ducks, goats or rabbits. I asked for the menu and the waitress, the owner's daughter, said NO. I was not even allowed to know the costs of the limited items offered. I then asked for a wine list that was on the back of the menu. The waitress had a terrible attitude and lifted her voice while speaking in English or speaking extremely fast in Italian. We told the waitress that, due to the limited menu choice, we find an alternative restaurant and all sudden other items are available. That made us really uncomfortable. Apparently, this restaurant tried to put unnecessary food on us. We had no choice but to go and will never return to this institution.

Gute Küche, rustikales aber elegantes Ambiente, schneller Service.

Wir wollten mittags um 12.00 Uhr zu dritt essen. Einige Tische waren reserviert,andere nicht. Der Kellner sagte jedoch, wir könnten erst um 14.00 Uhr essen. Ist das touristenfreundlich?

Gracious owners. We had a modern comfortable family suite with balcony and beautiful view of the mountains. Hidden gem. Seafood appetizer at the restaurant was delicious. Dalpe is a cute town and a perfect spot to stay before our hike to Capanna Tencia.
