I love cheese! They are great about samples and really know their products.excellent variety of cheeses, and small but good offer of wines both by the glass and by the bottle, and beer.

My wife and I found this place through a couples picnic adventure found on Eventbrite. Our 1st encounter was great, the young lady and guy were friendly explained the different cheeses we had in our sample box. We decided to go back with our kids topurchase more cheese. We see a different person at the counter. We are not cheese connoisseur, my wife ask if we could sample,the guy says no samples. Okay, no problem. He started to explain the different type of cheeses so we choose some of the sameones that was in our sample pack and a couple of different cheeses. I ask about a certain cheese and how can they slice it forsandwiches. He state this cheese is not meant for sandwiches. I understand he might have cheese knowledge but don 't tell me whatI am not to place my cheese on. We spend over $60 in cheese, my wife ask for 1 more pack of tongs because each person wanttheir own. They lady state sure no problem but the guy say how about we do not I just purchase over $60 in cheese and youwant to be stingy with your tongs! But end up giving us the tongs any way since my wife demanded to have another pair. We likethe cheese but not the service that we received. We will not be going back but if their is another Scardello beside the one wewent to we will revisit.

Great small business with excellent staff. Love visiting this shop when I'm in the downtown area. Excellent cheese selection. Luxe gourmet chocolates, specialty crackers, olives, nuts, boutique wine selection also available. Don't know what to pick? Askthe friendly staff, they make great recommendations! Pictured is a cheese plate for 2, to go. I took it with me to a localbrewery, made a great night even better!

A new favorite we discovered back in January. We did a cheese and wine pairing then and had a lot of fun and we've gone with some new cheeses. This time we signed up for a virtual cheese and honey tasting. We picked up our tray that afternoon andjoined the event from our hotel room. We were not disappointed. The event was fun and informative. The presenters were veryknowledgeable and their pairings were delicious! We plan to do more tastings with friends, virtual or otherwise. Best discovery we made right after they open. My husband started a tradition shortly thereafter. He goes to Scardello on Christmas Eve and chooses 4-5 cheeses and gets a bottle of wine. That?s our Christmas dinner. One Christmas he bought a softcheese with a line of truffles in it. My very first encounter with truffles and it was instant love. One Christmas present thisyear for my husband was the Truffle Video Cheese talk with samples. It?s worth every dollar. The white wine went well with everycheese. Years ago we took a cheese tour out by Ft. Worth and met a bunch of goats and cows. Tim Love?s Lonesome Dove restaurantwas our wonderful meal that day.
