Even white people eat more spicy food.
First thing I gotta say, IMMACULATE !This place blew me and my boyfriends mind away. We had initially tried the mother clucker chicken sandwich at the state fair. Immediately after the first bite we knew we had to find the restaurant to come back and enjoy more food.1. Customer service is amazing and soo sweet !2. Food is DELICIOUS! Came out hot and fast ! From the sandwich to the sides even the banana pudding, we demolished them all ! Full of great flavor.Will definitely come back soon and will recommend it to anyone !P.s. server with the flannel cashiering and the owner really made us feel soo welcomed. Y’all are awesome!
The restaurant is very trendy. There is a large indoor dining area with a full bar (2 TVs playing sports) and counter service order. The entrance has an enclosed patio. The patio had 2 TVs playing sports, and plenty of seating for those who would like to sit in the area with the patio windows open. I had the catfish which was bland . You could tell the flour didn't have any seasoning in it and fish wasn't seasoned either. Do yourself a favor and try the collard greens! The greens were very good. The portion is more than enough.. I will be back to try the hot chicken.
Really good french fries but everything else is just okay. I recently got the chicken caesar salad wrap and found it unimpressive but edible. Palmer's is a cool spot with a nice patio but a little too out of the way for me and not really worth the drive. The service is always great though and they're really helpful when answering questions.
Drove 20 minutes out of my way for this. Ordered Big Dark to go. Stood at counter 25 minutes and the manager came out and said he was out of dark meat. I'm literally watching the line guys pull dark meat out of the fryer. They offered me a beer to wait 20 more minutes for dark meat. I said I'd take white meat. They found one dark piece. Manager said he threw in an extra few tots and two desserts on the house. Apologized. He tried to recover, so can't fault that. First few times I ate here it was excellent. This was a disappointment. And I must say, the leg/thigh quarter was mushy and tasted odd. I am quite sick this morning.
