Bidra med feedbackService was great! The food was very good. There were some dishes that were better than others. We had the Arancani, they are a traditional Sicilian dish that is risotto that is usually filled with meat or Ragu, and then lightly breaded and pan or deep, fried in oil. Although this was not stuffed with anything except for cheese, it was good. You could tell that the tomato sauce that was served on the side was made fresh. The fried Calamari and the sauces that accompanied it were also very good. As for main courses, there were some dishes that you can tell they used premade ingredients ...for example... the sausage that they use in some of their dishes just taste like something you bought in the frozen food aisle at Tom Thumb. Heavy on fennel and sodium and not a lot on quality meats. Some of their tomatoes that they use in their dishes like their chicken Parmesan have a lot of sweetness in the sauce usually that is an accomplished through sugar and you don't put sugar in your tomato sauce. They are not cooking their pasta fresh... some of the pasta in the dishes were cooked for so long.. They became very rubbery and just didn't taste good. Definitely not al dente! The desserts were mediocre. They do not make at least their flourless chocolate cake, which tasted like it just came out of the freezer. It was pretty cold, and very pedestrian. I think if this restaurant started making some of their main ingredients from scratch and paying attention to the way they cook their food this place could really be a winner for now it's just a good date places and it's an expensive place so your date better be worth it.
Great appetizers and entrees. Brussel sprouts are fantastic and highly recommend the risotto balls. Lasagne and pasta felt homemade. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. Friendly staff and helpful. Would highly recommend and will be going back.
The service was spot on. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The food was outstanding. We had the calamari to start, and then for entrees, I had the Pappardella with added meatball, and my wife has the lasagna. For desert, we had the brown butterblondie. The pasta was made in-house and was delicious. We enjoyed everything we had and can't wait to go back.
Enoteca Italia in Dallas offers a mixed bag of experiences. Despite having a reservation, a wait was inescapable, which slightly dimmed the initial impressions. The ambiance, while cozy and lively, suffered from excessive noise, making conversation a challenge. However, the service rose above, demonstrating efficiency and attentiveness. The well-prepared food, a saving grace, tantalized taste buds with satisfying flavors. While culinary delights shone, the table placement proved a drawback, demanding improvement for a more comfortable dining experience. Enoteca Italia, with its culinary prowess, could elevate the overall experience further with attention to reservations and optimizing the seating arrangement.
Delicious food, excellent service, and luxury atmosphere. Perfect for a special celebration or casual drop-in dining.Note that the pizza crust is very soft and pillowy. Great flavor and texture but I prefer a crispy exterior and chewy center.
