Different steak places have different cooking styles. For this class of restaurant and style I say Capital Grille is the best in the square mile of steak places downtwn. Not just the steaks but all the intems we ordered. For example, creamed spinach. Many places use too much cream mix and drowns out the spinach. Capital Grille does it right. Also, server Steve always takes good care of us.
Table next to us was very loud! our waiter was friendly enough to move us to dessert. steak amazing. kartoffel could have been a bit warmer. all other foods and employees excellent. to understand such a good waiter!
As usual, eating was excellent. we had an early diner, so it was quiet what was nice. our waiter was excellent, engaged, and never let our glasses go dry, which can be a bit of a task, as I drink a bit of an ice cream. everything was at the point of what the expectation of such a restaurant is.
This place continues to go downhill. Both steaks dry, tough and overcooked. The Oscar was a sticky glob of mayonnaise and crab. The lobster tail translucent and stringy. Thankfully the shrimp cocktail and oysters were cold and delicious. Won’t go back
