Bidra med feedbackMy student discount got me in for free. I had a lovely experience in that Courtyard and the indoor exhibit. There were many sculptures and the general area was well kept. No trash anywhere, the bathrooms were also clean. It was a very classy atmosphere with with all the patrons getting along quietly. The staff was friendly. As an added bonus, I spotted some ducks also enjoying the facilities!
Beautiful sculpture center great variety of work presented in a gorgeous, inviting building. The staff was so nice and informative as well really made the visit even better. Perhaps due to the snow/cold, the lawn out back was closed, but you could still see some of the work at a distance (we visited early February 2022).
What a beautiful place Nasher Sculpture Center is. My friend and I had brunch down the street and decided to stroll through since he had never been before. The exhibit inside was really unique and very diverse. At 3:30 they did an instrumental with the metal art components, that was really cool! There was a room that had an exhibit of sound that you definitely have to check out. It was a really dark room with focused lighting that tracks your movements makes a certain chord and melody. We definitely had a good time in there experimenting with the music. The outdoor garden is just exquisite. Beautiful pieces throughout the lawn, even a Picasso! They had several water features with a really relaxing soundscaping. It was a beautiful day and certainly a perfect into a relaxing Easter day.
Amazing sculpture museum with regular exhibits and news one around the year. Outside garden is beautiful with many sculptures. I use to visit at least once a year. Beverages and snack available onsite. Free access first weekend of the month. You may need at least 1h to visit.
Love this place, especially the permanent collection in the yard. the cafe is also really good and there’s always a great exhibition to see!
