Bidra med feedbackDisappointed in the food...except for the whipped ricotta toast. The omelette was room temp and the moray sauce was “set” and also not warm...was as if the plate sat in a warming oven. The side salad looked beautiful and was fresh. The wine ordered should have been decanted...the server did not even suggest...but chuckled when heavy sediment was at bottom of the glasses. The ambiance is much nicer at dinner.
Food was mediocre and service was terrible. Waiter was so distracted and left us unattended for almost 45 mins, never refilled water and asked if we wanted more champagne. We had to ask to close out the tab to another server. Place is beautiful with natural light and amazing views, but don’t recommend the restaurant for any occasion as there are way better brunch restaurants in the city. Overall experience 2 stars
I was saddened to find out that one of my favorite ****** Mary drinks that included Kim Chee vegetables that was a true work of magnificence was no more at Mirador. Now just a plain old ****** Mary, nice but not killer fabulous. Brunch food and sandwiches good but nothing to write to Michelin about. Noise level energetic when most tables occupied. Service as usual was excellent. I am sad as this restaurant started out with such hints of greatness and is now just good.
It had been a year since we’d eaten at Mirador and I imagine that it will be at least that long before we go back. The menu was boring and the food, once it arrived, was sub-par. The chicken bites were burned and had an odd, almost medicinal taste. We ate about a 1/3 of the dish and the sweet waitress kindly removed them from the bill without having to be asked. I ordered the farro salad and my friend had some sort of salad, as well. Our food was mediocre...not awful but just blah. We would have been served better food at Denny’s. Mirador, when it opened, was a lovely lunch spot. However, now it’s just an overpriced place to pause from ones shopping trip. There are a number of downtown spots that are far more compelling and this may be our last visit to Mirador.
Very limited menu, to say the least. Moreover, even with a limited menu, they didn't have 2 main entrees available. Moreover, too pricey, and definitely not worth the mandatory 20% tip.
