Elephant East - Dallas

It was wayyyy to crowded to be enjoyable. hard pass

Service was phenomenal. Restaurant was beautiful. The NYE menu was good though I hope to return to try their regular menu soon. Appetizers (seared tuna and scallops) were great. Main dishes (sea bass and duck) were good. Desserts (chocolate lava cake and mango cake)were fantastic. The Thousand Smiles cocktail was perfection. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch.

Service was great! From the bar to table side everyone was courteous pleasant attending to my party and I . Enjoyable experience!

I could write a book on how disappointed I am with my experience here. However, majority of the issues stemmed from the customer service or lack of it. The host undermined my concerns and made no effort to accommodate my party the bartender forgot to put my order in. When the food did arrive it was very mediocre. I like to frequently visit popular Dallas restaurants but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever. You can get better food, atmosphere, customer service at almost ANY OTHER place in Dallas. I drove an hour to visit this restaurant and it was such a terrible first experience!

We had a delightful Christmas Eve dinner here. The food, drinks, and service were all great.
