Bidra med feedbackWe ordered a robot cake for my son’s 3th birthday!! The cake was so delicious and looked exactly like the picture I sent them. I absolutely love Cretia’s!!
Cretia’s has been a family favorite for many years! Their cakes are the best. Never had a bad experience or dissatisfied. Cretia’s alway has the best chicken salad on croissant too! 10/10 easily one the best spots for food dessert in Dallas.
My sister recommended this bakery since she purchases cakes here a lot. I live out of state but was celebrating my 30th birthday with my family in Dallas. The original cake was most likely the “real” deal but the remake is a box cake. The cake is not worth the $137 I paid. The bakery offered to remake the cake because they stated that it was a hard cake to keep upright and it was damaged sometime between me picking it up from the bakery and placing it on the counter at my sister’s house. I was originally planning to keep the original cake as it was, but I didn’t get a picture with it before it was damaged. However, I did have the opportunity to taste the icing. The icing was so delicious so imagine my disappointment when I tasted the remake cake. I did make sure to take a picture with the remake cake at the bakery before leaving. The icing tastes stale and the cake taste like a box cake with added ingredients. My sister stated this cake is not Cretia’s best. At this point, I wish I would have kept the original cake because it would have been much more enjoyable to eat just based on how the icing tasted. I would have appreciated it more had Cretia’s allowed me to keep the original cake instead of offering to remake it if they couldn’t make it taste as good or better than the original.
Stopped in to get a slice of cake to-go, since I haven't had a Cretia's fix in a long time. Kalynn took great care of us and offered suggestions. She was very friendly, patient, and personable. As expected, the white cake was delicious (the frosting is so sweet and yummy), and the buttermilk pie really surpassed my expectations. I'll have to hide my desserts from my kids. ?
My daughter took me and some friends to Cretia's for brunch yesterday for Mother's Day (at my request). I hate to say it but it could have been better. I ordered an Aperol Spritz but the bartender wasn't there and our server didn't know how to make it or how to speak English!?! We had **** Mary's and they were fine. I ordered Crab Benedict (after looking forward to it all week) and the yolk on the poached egg was hard! They were really busy so I didn't send it back but I was very disappointed. By the time we left, the restaurant and the bakerywere very busy. They seemed to be short staffed and I didn't see any senior employees only young people who didn't know what they were doing. I understand that it was Mother's Day and people need a day off but I would think that the management would have been expecting to be busy on that special day. I'm sure that the check was quite expensive and the experience wasn't really worth it. We'll go back because it's one of our favorites but I have to say that it wasn't as good as usual.
