Caprese New York Pizza Pasta - Dacula

We visited Sunday, early evening, 9 October 2022. Food was delicious, service was moderate, at best, and the waiter tip reflected that. The waitress had a helper, the restaurant wasn't busy, but we couldn't get any refills on our drinks, our dirty plates were left on the table, and the waitress behaved as if they were too busy to disturb us. We would have ordered wine and dessert, but she ran off as soon as we had ordered food and gave us no time to order drinks. As soon as our food was delivered, we never saw it again, except to fall the bill.

It was my first time to eat here. As soon as we set ourselves and got our garlic knots, I could say they were sitting around for a while. Had trouble cutting her with a knife. The Kalamari seemed frozen and stuck in a deep frit. The frits were not very hot. Philly was good as the soup. Good service.

Amazing food, NY style pizza. It?s hard to find a restaurant that makes pizza with anchovies and I couldn?t miss this chance so I ordered that and it was delicious.

When I walked in, there were fewer than ten people there. Of course, it was at 3 pm in the afternoon. Service was good. Rolls came out hot and the salad was fresh. The lasagna was not at all what I expected. This is not how I fix lasagna and when it came out in a bowl, I was disappointed. It was greasy, there was 4 pieces of pasta that was laid down on the bottom. The sauce was ok but I figured it was the same meat sauce for the spaghetti. I gave it a 3 because the waiter Sergio was impeccable. Not sure if I will go back and try there pizza.

So I visited this pizzaria while visiting my family in the Buford GA area. The resturante was very nice, tables and booths. They had a small salade bar in the back. They put very good garlic Knott's on the table that were delecious with oil and garlic. We ordered two large cheese pizza pies. The pizzas were made very fast in their brick oven. The pizza overall was good, not as good as NY pizza, but I wasn't expecting it to be. I am born and raised and currently still live on Long Island NY and an super picky about my pizza and find the pizza down south horrible. The crust was light and crispy and the pizza had plenty of cheese. The pie had 8 slices, half the size of a real NY slice, so with 7 of us, the pizza went fast. Best pizza I have found yet in the Buford GA area. My family loves it at Caprese and goes often, they even love their pasta dishes. Overall a very good place for pizza.
