Nice modern izakaya but kinda overrated. The portion is small.

Really nice modern izakaya. Food is really good and the atmosphere is pretty cool when it’s not too crowded. Price are a bit high tho and it doesn’t taste quite like traditional Japanese food. But still a good spot!

Modern Japanese restaurant! Food was nice. Bartender was helpful and friendly. There was lots of cocktail and their name were creative. Good place for drinks.

One of the modern Japanese style bbq restaurant, their bbq are just perfect, the beefs meats is tender and super juicy, price is average, highball drinks is a bit small compare to the price, the bbq fish presentation is excellent, meats are fresh sweet, do love the mushrooms, whatever the juice they mix it together makes the mushroom so tender and taste so good. Do recommend this restaurant. They only open at night, from 6:00pm to 1:00am, and they also do accepted credit card so no need to worry.

New trend is a modern Japanese izakaya that also has a large bar area. The restaurant interior is quite spacious and modern. Food: 3.5 stars Environment: 4.5 stars Service: 3 stars Value: 3.5 stars Recommendations: chicken meatball, beef short ribs The food here is pretty average. Some things taste good and others are just ok. I was expecting more after reading the reviews. The waiter we had on the night was pretty inexperienced and wasn’t very helpful with the menu. The service standards in Taipei are quite high and my experience was below these standards. The vibe here is pretty cool especially if you are sitting at the bar. Drinks are pretty reasonably priced. The food is a bit on the expensive side (for Taipei).
