It was always my go to spot for a great lunch, pozole, paninis with the heart gluten free bread I’ve ever had, yummy iced tea and chai, and of course the gluten free rotating flavors scones. Went back a few months ago and the service was horrible, and the menu was too. All my favorite things gone and off the menu. As a business owner myself, I don’t understand why you’d mess with what works so well, removing items that you are known and paid for. The food was awful and I will not be back. I’ve been talking to friends around town and they ALL agree. PLEASE bring our old menu!
Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I had been coming here for years. I am heartbroken.
The menu has changed to include Southeast Asian options, and the food is even better than before. Same great venue and service.
This is my fourth visit here. Excellent and eclectic food and a huge selection of teas. The wait staff is generally friendly and proficient. The hostesses are generally flippant while the tea sales counter people are almost always rude, aloof and bothered. Clearly management has no idea how their customer service component acts toward the paying customer. If that staff element were as professional as the rest of staff and the kitchen crew, this would be a 5-star place. BUT...try it for yourself. I hope YOU have five-star experiences.
This morning I returned to The Tea House after several years. I have to say the new chef Stephen has made some amazing new changes to the menu. The Avocado toast is a sure winner as well as the Chia Acai Bowl. All the items are health conscious, and made with fresh ingredients. Also for an added treat, I tried the Ube waffles. Let us not forget the tea! I tried the Almond Latte! Such a delight!! I am so pleased with these new changes and I can’t wait to see what Stephen does next! Kudos to you! I will be back!!!
