La Cusquenita Tradicional Picnteria

A great place to taste local food and see local dance. The food was great and the Cicha grills are huge! The dancers were a lot of fun and took some from the audience to join the fun. They cook on a traditional fire and make Cicha on site.

Depending on what you want, this is a beautiful place for you large selection of local food, decent prices, families / big parties, or music / shows. Now this is not the place if you want a good, quiet atmosphere, or do not wait long. They play music and show here nonstop so his not quietly speaking between the and the great number of people here. This is really more a place for locals. Its big and there are usually one waiting to just sit. The food is just par but nothing special about really writing. And if you want to try a bit of cuddly (taste like chicken and duck greasy and more fried skin than meat) and at a reasonable price then you can try it here. You only have a menu on the board when you enter as well as a wooden board that they are on most tables, but not all. Since I help according to your needs, this place can serve them, but I prefer to eat in a place that has local food less crowded, and the food is good vs just okay.

The place is really beautiful! The conversation was very nice- beautiful family place- but the meat we ordered was hard, and Ceviche was no longer available.

I hate to say, it was not very good and I would not recommend going there. Granted, the food was nasty, the cuy that they served which was dry and had a nauseating licorice spice.

Great clean place to try local food caldo de gallina, cuy, lomo saltsdo etc. Very tasty, and reasonably priced: about 30 soles per main. Attentive service too. We came here at 1pm and it was about half full. We were the only tourists, everyone else was local. At 130pm, they had some dressed up dancers do a simple show for 10 minutes. Overall the atmosphere was great, it felt like an authentic meal at a lively place versus the stuff closer to Plaza De Armas which is about 15min away walking.
