Bidra med feedbackThis is my second visit to Cusco in two months. The first time I came, I stayed in a hospedaje near this restaurant and ate here almost every day. This time I'm staying a fair distance, but I couldn't come back to Cusco without eating in Kukuly. Today I had chicken Cordon Bleu, consisting of chicken, ham and cheese in a mushroom engraving, served with Papas Fritas and rice. The chicken portion was very generous and tasty. Other meals I enjoyed here include a pork stall in a curry sauce, spaghetti bolognese and a salad and sandwich. I also had kisses here, but it is not my taste, although the Ocopo Relleno was served with it was wonderful. Very recommended. The restaurant has a rustic charm and the chef is very talented.
Directly opposite Hotel Casa Andina Private Collection. After arrival/checking there we drove over the road to fast lunch. Pizza was very good.
Kukuli is a hidden, beautiful restaurant near Plaza de Armas. We visited the Calle Huaynapata, 318. We had a delicious Peruvian meal, in a cool decorated place, served by a really young and friendly cooker, at a very fair price. We had Palta a la Reina for beginners (probably the best avocado we've ever eaten) and some chicken soup. The main dishes were Alpaca Filet Mignon and the traditional Lomo Saltado. They were both delicious and the meat was tender. If you are looking for a beautiful Peruvian meal, far from tourist places (and prices), Kukuli is the place.
This is definitely off the beaten path, you'd likely not find it if not knowing it was there. If you want Peruvian, and to east cost-effective, this is the place to go. The Peruvian Menú includes a soup or appy, choice of a main course (often with a vegetarian option) and small dessert drink.
En general los platos muy buenos y de buen gusto. Lo que más me gustó fueron los postres que se incluyen en el menú.Excelente opción para aquellos que viajan con un presupuesto medido pero que gustan de buenos y variados sabores.
