Summits Wayside Tavern - Cumming

I took a friend to this restaurant after singing its praises, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The pretzel was fantastic, but my chicken cordon bleu arrived completely drenched in ranch dressing. By the time it made it to my plate, the bun was soggy, and I could only bring myself to take one bite. You would think the server would have checked in to see if everything was okay. All we wanted was to leave, but then my server returned with my signed receipt, claiming I had made an error in the tip section. Upon reviewing it, I noticed he had changed the amount from a 5 to a 6. I was so shocked that I just walked out and have no intention of returning.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I tried the Inferno Burger, but it lacked the expected heat. Despite that, the burger was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the garlic fries were amazing. The sweet tea was also excellent. I’ll definitely be returning!

This is the closest thing we have to a traditional tavern. They offer an excellent variety of food and snacks, along with more than a hundred different beers, ales, and ciders. If you're a sports fan, you'll appreciate the numerous TVs showcasing the latest games. Be sure to try the pastrami and Reuben sandwiches—they're fantastic!

The place is dark and everything is sticky. It's very loud and the menus had stuff stuck on it. We got wings and fish chips. The fish was chewy, which it's not supposed to be, my fork couldn't cut through it. The server was nice but the male manager that came over gaslighted me, questioning the validity of my claim. I told him I picked up the piece that my fork couldn't cut through, and I couldnt pull it apart with my fingers either. It seemed old/dry and I wasn't gonna risk getting sick. That is NOT how fish should be! The bathroom is like a gas station bathroom too btw. Won't be back to this dive.

Great place to grab a sandwich and a beer! So many beers on tap it makes it difficult to choose!! I will be sure to stop agin when I’m in the area!!
