Tarbell's Deli - Cumberland

I discovered this restaurant by chance while on a road trip and now every time we visit the island, we always make a point to stop by. The entire menu is delightful (especially the breakfast sandwich), the coffee is always fresh, and the baked goods are a delightful treat! I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know.

My sisters and I found this incredible hidden gem of a restaurant a few years ago, and it never disappoints! We drive an hour from Nanaimo just to have lunch here occasionally, and it's never enough. Thank you Tarbells for the amazing atmosphere and delicious combination of homestyle and gourmet food. We absolutely adore this place!

Amazing! This restaurant serves expertly crafted coffee and delicious food. We initially stopped by to ask a question, but were so impressed that we ended up returning three days in a row. The staff is incredibly helpful and personable, and they take great care in preparing both the food and coffee. Highly recommend!

Tarbell's is a Cumberland Classic. A cozy place where you go to meet your friends, warm up and enjoy the food and atmosphere. The home baked goodies are delicious. Good music selection and artists regularly display their work on the walls. I go there a couple of times a week.
