Bidra med feedbackThe seasoning of the different dishes was quite flavorful. But the chicken in the Butter Chicken was hard and overly chewy like rubber. The Fish Mouilee sauce was a perplexing and confusing mess. The lamb dish was overall the most decent. The 2 different garlic naans were good but very small. The cheese naan was unremarkable. In short, this is a way below standard Indian restaurant even by LA standards. I will not return.
Very good service Wonderful food All in all, high value place
I came here last night with my boyfriend and we got a seat inside in the back corner. The ambiance is great and feels pretty upscale. It was a Saturday, and there were probably only 4 other tables full. We got the samosas, paneer tikka masala, saffron rice, garlic naan, and the butter chicken. The food was delicious, particularly the paneer tikka masala and the garlic naan. If this review was just for the food, it would be a 4.5. Unfortunately, the service was a 2, hence the 3 star review. Our waiter got our drink and appetizer fairly quickly after sitting down, but then didn’t see him again for probably 20 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting, our appetizer arrived. We asked the gentleman who brought our appetizer out if he could check on our drinks (we ordered 2 coca colas, mind you). We eventually got our drinks and could order our main dishes. We got our main dishes so quickly that we hadn’t even finished the samosas yet. The timing was just very off. I ordered a side of the burnt garlic raita with my meal, and it never came. Once our food was dropped off to us by a different gentleman than our server, our server NEVER came to check on us or the food. I couldn’t even check on the side because he was glued to the TV watching football or nowhere to be found. I was disappointed because I wanted to eat my naan and main dish with the sauce, but I was so hungry so I had to just eat everything without it. We went over half our meal without any drinks, because we needed a refill and our server never came by. When our server finally came, we told him about the missing sauce and to please remove it from our bill because we never received it. He brought us the bill and (luckily I reviewed it) and he had added a cauliflower appetizer to our bill! We had to wait a while for him to come by again and ask him to remove that. Finally we got the new bill and were able to pay. Everything that could go wrong with the service, did go wrong. The worst service we’ve gotten in years.
Delicious Indian food- great choices for vegetarian- loved the starters- cauliflower bites and a vegetarian Indian street food option! The lentil Dal was so tasty!!!
The food was excellent. Great recommendations by our server. It was our first time and we were pleased!
