Bidra med feedbackExcellent coffee and espresso for those who really appreciate coffee, not sugar and milk. The scones are authentic and subtle, not dessert. If you're in the mood for real quality, then 18 Grams is the spot.
This is really one of the best specialty coffee shops I have been to in Virginia. The staff is very educated and knowledgeable about coffee and what they serve and they are friendly and will answer all your questions. A lot of coffee shops have expensive machines and grinders but do not spend the time to dial in properly and get a well balanced shot. This place does and you can taste the difference. The breakfast food on offer is very good as well.
Food and coffee is worth it. Follow your senses smell, taste, and enjoy! Below is the Belgian Monte Cristo! I eat vegan six days a week for health. They have vegan, vegi friendly options.
Stopped in here for the first time last weekend and enjoyed a King's Cake latte during the Mardi Gras event downtown. The latte was exceptional and even though i got the order to go, the atmosphere inside seemed really chill. The service was great in the brief interaction that I had and I really like the bike shop that is attached and intended to check it out soon. Looking forward to coming back here.
Came here from Winchester. Was excited to visit a coffee shop/bike shop. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 for the cleanliness and visually appealing layout. Service left much to be desired, and I couldn?t help but get the feeling I was being judged, like I was going to steal something. Interactions were short, very little effort on their behalf was put into social exchange. Signage of laptop use suggests a much busier establishment in a much bigger city. Having come from 8+ years of managing well recognized bike shops as a lead tech, I can say customer service standards need a closer evaluation. I?m from Miami FL and recently lived in Denver CO?both big coffee cities and can?t say I?ve paid more than $7 for coffee. At $9 a cup this seems a bit superfluous for a small town. As a longtime cyclist and huge supporter of small businesses I was left disappointed, was not worth the 1hr drive. Perhaps I came on a bad day for the staff? Either way, unfortunate experience.
