The Olive Well - Cullompton

I left booking a place to stay till the very last moment but I found this fantastic place to stay. Firstly, Rob the owner is such a genuine lovely bloke and could not be more welcoming and helpful. Secondly, my room was absolutely fantastic and I had a wonderful sleep. My reason for staying was work related but this is the first time I will plan my next visit and take my wife. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, you can tell when someone takes pride and everyone I met in The Olivewell obviously do and obviously enjoy working there. Definitely will be booking to stay again weither it's for work or pleasure. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

A nice meal spoiled by one bad meal we went to this restaurant last week and where met by a very friendly team drinks order was placed then food was done after a long wait which we understood the food arrived three of the meals where perfect however my wifes meal was very over cooked We did mention this to the staff when they came and asked if everything was ok with the meals and the young lady said oh sorry about that and walked off When we went to pay we paid the full price no mention of taking the burnt meal off the bill A lovely meal Ruined by one bad Meal Service: 3 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Absolutely fantastic. I ordered 8 takeaway pizza for Saturday 16th 09 23 they were outstanding and we highly recommend the food at the olive well. Thank you so much for the time you went to to get my order out.. Thank you Linda. Service: 5

Food was very pleasant but the service was something else. It was like being in faulty towers. It was quite funny really. Drinks being brought out 1 at a time and being spilt on the way, food arriving sporadically. No offer of a dessert so we asked for the menu but they never came back to take our order. It wasn't even busy in there. Asked for a to-go box and they rammed half a pizza into a burger box and when I complained they put it in upside down in a foil container. Had to go up to pay as no-one was interested in bringing us the bill. Did it spoil our evening? No. But only because it was so bad it was funny. Would I go back again? Yes I'd probably give it another chance, perhaps they were just having an off day and tbf the food was very nice and plenty of it. Service: 3
