Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant

I highly recommend the dishes we tried at this restaurant: Chicken with Garlic Hoisin Sauce, Szechuan Lamb, Beef and Black Bean Sauce, Stir-fried vegetables in Oyster sauce, Mixed entrees, and Deep Fried Icecream. Every dish was delicious, hot, and fresh with amazing flavors. The customer service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was served promptly. I would definitely come back if I am in the area. Overall rating: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.

Entre of prawn cutlets were flat and dry, definitely not worth $15 for 4. Very tough. Vegetable fried rice was bland, not even soy sauce on rice. Then main honey chicken lacked flavour and tenderness. Coating of honey sauce was on bottom of plate not rich and sticky over the chicken. Would I go back again, no. Absolutely delicious traditional Chinese dishes served quickly with a wide variety to choose from. The honey prawns were outstanding! The service was efficient for a dine-in experience. Overall, the meal was reasonably priced at A$20-40 per person. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3. There is plenty of parking available, with the option of using the free parking lot.
