Bidra med feedbackPizza base was doughy and under cooked. The bruschetta pizza base was smothered in garlic, which overpowered the taste of everything, and was dry and had next to no cheese on it. The 2 little pigs was a little better, but with no cheese on the base, the toppings just slid straight off the base who does that! All round very bad.
After being spoiled in Sydney with a plethora of pizza options near our home, we found it difficult to secure a reservation at a restaurant. Instead, we opted for a cozy night in with pizzas. We ordered a large pizza and a family-sized pizza, which ended up being more than enough for the four of us. While the pizzas were just okay and not particularly great, the kids enjoyed the Margherita and we tried The Hot-Headed Abruzzo. The prices were on the higher side, and we had to wait for an hour to pick up our order.
On a Saturday night outside of school holidays, this place was very very busy. We can recommend the pizzas including the vegetarian and supremo good crust and generous toppings. The arancini were crunchy and fresh. Possibly because the order was only available 15 mins later than advised, the gnocchi and creamy chicken pasta may have sat around a little too long and not been at their best. Take advantage of family meal deals. At time of this review, no in house dining available. Good food and good value.
Do yourself a favour and don't stop here. You could find a nicer pizza frozen from Coles however unlike Coles it takes hours and the staff are rude. People told us the same but went ahead anyway. Never again!
I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I have tried their pizzas before and my favorite is the roast pumpkin with pine nuts and rocket. Unfortunately, this time the pine nuts and rocket were missing from my pizza. It only had onion jam, pumpkin, and feta, which was still tasty but not as satisfying without the other flavors. I hope they can improve in the future.
