Bidra med feedbackDepending on TripAdvisor we went to the restaurant on Thursday at 7 a.m. and it was closed. I suggest you go around the corner to the Bons Cafe.
We in Cuernavaca are so incredibly happy to have this beautiful little restaurant!!! The food is always excellent, with only the fruit of the ingredients, both for breakfast and for lunch and dinner!! Big coffee, the house salad is the best, the omelet are delectable, and the Cassoulet, onion soup,...and Filet Mignon can't beat!! The service is friendly, timely, knowledgeable and always attentive! The walls are graced with rotating shows of contemporary, interesting and fascinating works of art. It is a staircase with internal and external seating with a beautiful view of the bus stop below.
Our family visited this place a few years ago and now we make a point to come back every time we are in town. Friendly service, delicious food, a pleasant location overlooking the cathedral, and very cheap prices (130-200 Pesos gets you a soup or salad, Entree,...and coffee or dessert). This time we returned with our 17-month daughter who was a bit hyper. The owner David and all the staff were totally patient and sweet with her, brought her toys and tolerated her antique. Do not miss the Maracuya mousse (passion fruit) when available! I can't wait to go back.
Close to the cathedral, downtown Cuernavaca, so close to other places of interest. Upstairs, with some balcony seating, but the doorway to the stairs leading up to the restaurant is a little difficult to spot the first time. Good food.
David has created a wonderful restaurant that combines Mexican and French style cooking using fresh and interesting ingredients. It's a gift to eat on the patio of the restaurant with a view of Cuernavaca.
