Origami - Cuenca

I had sushi delivery of Origami last night and it was excellent! Fresh, delicious and great service! Will definitely order again.

I ate sushi and this place was it. Directly on Calle Larga and this small cozy place with about 2 tables. But the sushi here was so fresh, so good, reasonable price and definitely recommended to have sushi. Only what they do not accept cards so cash only, that was not a problem for us because we both do. only one head high

Amazing food, although we did not expect to eat Japanese food in Equator, this was our best meal in Cuenca and our best Japanese meal ever. We tried California Roll, amazing coconut shrimps, tuna tataki, seaweed salad, delicious spicy endams. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavors. The cook is also very nice and will answer any question you can have.

This place offers amazing vegan sushi! We had 30 creatively and pretty wrapped rolls, including a vegan soup as a predish and a juice. The owner is very friendly and understands the concept of veganism.

Not usually one to say things like this, but this really was the best vegan sushi we've ever had. Be it Ecuador, UK or elsewhere. It took a while as the chef is working solo so be patient, but it's worth the wait. Affordable too and with a bowl of miso to start you off. Sad to not be in Cuenca for longer or we'd go again. Try it!
