Bidra med feedbackIt's hard to believe that someone would leave this one star alone. That was the worst thing I had for years. anointed about believe, greasy, disgusting, terrible texture. the disgusting Mezcal drinks fit to eat. we have been on the road in mexiko for over a month and look forward to trying something from the traditional way. bad decision and a bad bauchache. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with taste pencils or the desire to drink something delicious. service was not available. forgot half the order, but at the end it was a blessing.
Our original plan was to enter for a snack and a beer. it is difficult to achieve this at porco rosso, as the portions are generous and the menu points are very appealing. it also has a beautiful location under a series of other restaurants. catering for standard Mexican taste and some Italian influences. the picnic bench seat is a beautiful idea, and there is a lot of space between tables, so they do not feel intrusive while the corrugated panel and straps provide a unique, cool decoration. sadly, eating itself is largely a disappointment: the brisket tacos were bland, which requires liberal use of salsa/bbq sauce; the baby ribs were dry and tasty when they had been cooked a few days before; the coleslaw was 90% carbureted with a vinegrette style dressing. on the plus side were the french fries in order, while the American cheesecake dessert was actually the highlight for me. So when they visit Mexico City and look for a break from Mexican eating, they can't get their luck with porco rosso it's a lot of style over substance.
Nice and chill place. The food is great and served by the staff with a smile. Pretty laid-back atmosphere.
This joint and its food was ok nothing more, nothing less. We don't speak Spanish (though we do make an effort) so this wasn't overly well received here. If you don't speak Spanish either you may have some communication issues. Regarding the food ...it came out within 5 minutes of ordering (a worry in itself), lukewarm (not surprising) needed salt. The slaw was ok. They don't serve alcohol after 5pm so be aware if you're going for dinner. All in all, it wasn't a mind blowing experience and I wouldn't rush back.
If they need a break from taco and pastor, this is a place to come. to survive everything from the beer is also good. personal friendly and helpful!
