King Buffet - Crystal Lake

I love the food it is well prepared and tastes great . The people are friendly and courteous.

1JUL2020 So happy King Buffet survived the pandemic. Our family really enjoyed the buffet.

Yesterday my 15-year-old daughter Jessica paid for us to go to King Buffet, my favorite dune in the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. When the manager found out it was my birthday, he gave me a card for a free dinner. So, we decided to eat again tonight, because we haven't had Chinese food for months, yesterday. King Buffet is a hidden gem, as it is over the street of Sam's Club (Crystal Lake, IL, almost adjacent to Mega Trampoline, in the wide corner of the shopping center where the *old* Walmart was earlier. They have really delicious food of a great variety, and extremely friendly and attentive people who work there. It is always a pleasure to eat there. The restaurant is large and not crowded, certainly only because it is so well hidden. More people should know about it. It deserves to be packed. Prices are also very good, especially when you go 3:30 a.m. on weekday. I would recommend King Buffet to anyone who reads this, even if you have a little car to get there. My personal favorite items are the stir roasted green beans and the pepper chicken. (But it's all you can eat, so you're not limited in your choice. They also have an unusually good *white* rice, which somehow makes it better combined with taste. King Buffet is easy to miss, but not if you know you should look. It is at Crystal Court Shopping Center, 5609 Northwest Hwy, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. BTW, we love the beautiful classical music they play. I think you will.

Good price for such a variety of good foods. I liked the baked shrimp and I also liked the baked fish with tartaric acid sauce and their soups are awesome their salads fruits and desserts are fabulous
