Green Tomate - CRUZ DE HUANACAXTLE

The guacamole was good. the live band was excellent and the location is great. the value for eating and drinks is average. as soon as they are busy, the service is best slow. at this opportunity they ran out of beer an hour into the band and had to replace them with room temperature corona.

That is a really funny place to eat was good, service was fantastic, beer very cold and the live entertainment was a bonus. I would recommend to make this a visit while they are in la cruz.

My family and I had just finished the la Cruz market and just happened to go to this place when that was opened. outside was a group of 50 people. we asked what the deal was because other nearby places were already open. they said, “Kings of Beer and Great Music.” So we thought what is to be hell and the group followed the small red staircase. above was an open air beam area and a platform. we took our place and soon a friendly worker asked about our drink order. fast, maybe 30 45 minutes after we set ourselves, the place was filled and soon he was only standing. a band (crazy boys) brought their equipment to the narrow staircase and equipment. we knew about the amount that this was a hot spot and we were for a tasty one. with the band setup they covered classic rocksongs and usually got damen dancing on the feet. the people waiting in the snake were right. the green tomate had cold beer and great music. it is worth noting that we haven't eaten, just some beer. the table next to us had guacamole that looked good! my tip, go there early and calm down, as they sit almost with those from the know and the regular ones that appear.

My friends and I go to the green tomato every Sunday afternoon to hear the crazy boys band. great music, super friendly staff and a great meeting point. If you didn't try, you missed it!
