Indian Ocean - Croydon

Went there for a business promotion event meal only to find that the restaurant has no bar! Very embarrassing for a business dinner, we won't use them again!

Ordered from here as our usual has changed hands and is not as good. Food arrived at the time suggested by Eats.com rather than the confirmation email which stated a further half hour. The shared veggie platter was tasty but the samosa and bhaji were a little soddy but tasted OK, the samosa had a nice heat to it. My chicken dansak was very nice. Hot enough and the chicken was moist, better than I'm used to in fact. We'll certainly be giving them another go.

Ordered a takeaway took 2 hrs to turn up, chased 3 times and was told it was on the way!! Food good but far too long to wait....

We decided we deserved a treat, so we ordered from here for the first time, so maybe it was poor beginners luck. I called at 19.40. We were told it would be an hour, which was fine. I called them just over an hour later (20.40). It hadn't left. I was told just 15 mins more. 15 mins passed. I called back (20.55). It had left. It arrived at 21.27. We paid the full price because we couldn't be bothered to argue and just wanted to eat. It was tasty, but cold and swimming in oil (it was a tikka). They had also forgotten parts of our order (we only ordered 4 things) so essentially overcharged us. Maybe it is better as a restaurant, but I will never order or go here again.

This is a nice decorated restaurant. lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I like there chicken jalfrezi, excellent test.
