Fezzo's Seafood, Steakhouse And Oyster Of Crowley

Miss the original. Both in atmosphere and quality of food. We’ve stopped on different occasions over the last 15—20 years when driving from Texas to the east. Been to the location closer to Lafayette but always preferred this one. Food wasn’t bad but seemed less flavorful. Gumbo was warm but not hot. Service was decent. But this Louisiana. We don’t plan our meal stops here for decent. We stop for some of the best in the country. The old Fezzo’s was but the new is sadly not.

We were not impressed with the food nor the service. We have gone to Fezzo's for several years but this was our first time visiting the new location. It's definitely not the same anymore. Prices have gone up significantly while the quality has gone way down. Side salads are no longer included with your meal. We had a new waitress who was unaware of prices and menu items. Food is terrific. Fish taco’s out of this world. Great ambiance for this location. Quiet location though it’s right off the freeway. Clean bathrooms. Great for families with kids or a quiet place for a couple. Maitre d’ was kinda off, reading in between the lines here but seemed to be joint that welcomes locals, not outsiders… just my 2 cents!

The food was great. I got the Crawfish and Tasso pasta. I thought it was a little pricey for lunch on a weekday until I saw the portion. It was huge. My mom got a cup of soup and it was the size of a bowl at most places. I mean the portions were really big. I have a huge appetite and I couldn’t finish. Will definitely go again if I’m the area without any issue.

Small, home like atmosphere. Food was GREAT I had the Shrimp half and half and my wife had the chicken and sausage gumbo with rice and potato salad. The food was delicious! If Fezzo's see this… Fantastic job, your service is sweet, and very kind! Congratulations on having that kind of employee's!
