Catts Inn - Crowborough

Beautiful inviting place, better than you average pub duve and worth a visit

It was another month, family coming together, where we are trying somewhere new. It looked like a promising place. Upon arrival we were surprised by the lack of parking lots, as it was unexpected, but there was no reflection on our visit. It is a small but beautiful village style pub/Bistro and small, it creates a pretty good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the service became surprisingly slow. There were a number of times when we felt forgotten after we had waited for 20 minutes and had to go to the bar itself to order drinks, request menus etc. The food was different from the online menus, so we threw a little, and the mention of steaks on the website had completely disappeared on the printed menus. Then the articles we wanted were not available. The food was okay, it wasn't amazing, but it did the job. My wife ordered the seafood plate that she left two thirds, as she said it was not nice at all, and the burgers that our two guys were very average and clearly not homemade, but they were the only real negatives.
