Bidra med feedbackThis place is probably one of the best sushi restaurants in all of Alaska! They started us with the richest miso soup I’ve ever had! Very creamy and kinda makes all other miso soups taste very diluted. We ordered the calamari with a green aioli which was EXQUISITE. The calamari by itself was just okay but with the aioli? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. One of the best calamari in the state. Next we did pairs of regular salmon nigiri and then Alaskan White King Salmon. The regular was thick and melted in your mouth. The white King was okay, probably wouldn’t order again because it was pretty bland. We finished with the Sakoro steaks which were super tender. I liked mine dipped in soy sauce because the truffle sauce they had with it was way too strong and overpowering. Overall an awesome experience and our server Clinton was absolutely amazing. I do plan on returning soon : .
Food was well prepared and fresh, although not outstanding. The service was very good and attentive to a shellfish allergy in the group. The Vegetable Tempura and the Hustler Roll were my two favorites. The desserts were also pretty good and I would recommend the Yuzu Meringue Tart, which is a little out of the box.
Great experience, stayed at the Alyeska hotel after a cruise Denali. We were exhausted from travels and wanted to eat at a resort restaurant to make it easy. Reese cheerfully greeted us and helped during the meal to serve us. Jackie was great very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and how everything was made. Even had the bar make a special hot toddy cocktail for my lady!! Food was delicious and very well prepared and fresh. You can 't go wrong with stopping here when at the hotel.
The garlic butter steak bites were INCREDIBLE. Seating isn’t the most comfortable it’s a large community table with a few booth options but service was wonderful and food was delicious!
I've been trying to eat at Sakura for the better part of 3 years but my schedule never aligned with their hours of operation. This latest trip to Alyeska finally yielded some fruit and we were able to dine here. I loved the ambiance and the service was exceptional! Our waiter knew the menu inside and out and even recommended an entree for our 3 year old that wasn't on the menu. I got an Alaska Lager that paired well with my King Salmon Sashimi. I also loved the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Alyeska Roll! The quality of the ingredients was excellent. We spent over $200 on a party of 6 which wasn't that expensive. Our experience here was definitely worth the wait. We look forward to the next time we can dine here. Thanks Sakura for an amazing meal!
