Lone Star Taco Bar Restaurant

Tacos were pretty wet and messy but were pretty good. Carnitas pork taco and beef barbacoa were good, but the fundido chorizo taco was so much better that I wish I just got 3 of those. Would definitely recommend the chorizo taco to anyone.

I'm not one to give opinions, but I always order victory nachos, I love them, I usually always order them with barbecue, I decided to change to carnitas, they charged me an extra $4 for the protein, which I see as illogical because they only added a small portion, which the truth is not it's worth it

Location is cool, nice outdoor patio etc, but the food is merely so so

The atmosphere is good but the food was terrible. It’s not really a Mexican place. Very bland food

I made the mistake of ordering the $12 chips and guacamole. The guac came in a decent sized bowl, but instead of either filling the bowl with guac, or even getting a smaller bowl, they COATED the bottom of the bowl with a small amount of guac. After the initial confusion, we realized we’d just paid $12 for 3-4 chips worth of guac. Really? I get it that inflation is hurting businesses, but this just felt insulting. We were going to stay for dinner, but decided to leave and go somehow else.
