This place is amazing! We have been visiting the Lake District for a few years and came across the Sun Inn last year. I can only describe it as a good 'old fashioned ' pub but it does also have a superb food menu. My Wife and I had the lasagne (which we had last year as wel) and for dessert the creme brulee. Both were hust heavenly! The atmosphere was lovely and the lady that greeted us and hosted us whilst we were there was fab! Would i go back? Without hesitation given that it was just a really lovely place. I felt it was fairly priced and also value for your money. Have paid more and been given less in some places. Highly recommended.
