Bidra med feedbackThe service at this restaurant was quick and welcoming. The gyros, rice bowls, and baklava were all delicious. However, I was surprised by the prices. I ordered a gyro and fries, while my wife had a rice dish. We also had two drinks and shared half a piece of baklava, which totaled $32. That seemed a bit expensive for a lunch meal, especially considering we could have gotten more food for the same price at Jack in the Box or White Castle.
I have been going to STL Gyros for a few years now and have never been disappointed. The homemade tzatziki is delicious, the gyro meat is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The French fries are huge and there is a great selection of toppings to choose from. I usually opt for a wheat pita, but they also offer white, wheat or a gyro salad for those on a keto diet. The falafel is also tasty, although I am not an expert. The owner is always present and some of the staff have been there since the restaurant opened. If you're in the mood for a tasty gyro from a local spot, I highly recommend giving STL Gyros a try - you won't be disappointed!
St. Louis Gyros provided catering for a business lunch and it was a hit with everyone. They made the process simple and offered a wide variety of options to ensure everyone was satisfied. It was a refreshing change from the usual sandwich platter lunch.
The food was decent with good portion sizes, but the cleanliness of the Manchester location was disappointing. We had to clean our seats and tables before sitting down and our order was mixed up. Additionally, the Pommes had too much salt on them. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our meal. However, there was a lack of consistency with the STL Gyros.
This restaurant used to be excellent, but recently they have been serving very small portions of meat (beef/lamb gyro) and they are also being stingy with the vegetables. When we requested extra sauce on the side, our request was denied.
