Came here on Thursday afternoon, had a nice quiet lunch with my mom. The staff welcomed, sat and immediately took care of us. Had some seaweed salad and elk soup to begin, followed by the sushi (spicy California, red dragon, UofL and spicy tuna, then ended with the red beans Mochi for dessert! Everything tastes delicious and was super fresh. Basic average sushi restaurant prices. Cosy size facility and friendly staff. Will be back soon:
You have the best mushroom soup! Very ready to adapt my sushi and they have the most friendly staff! I'll visit them weekly! You're the best!
The best sushi I had. Everything was extraordinary! Friendly staff who offer great recommendations. I had the dragon roll and Spicy salmon roll. Both were fantastic! Very recommended!
Having grown up in Crestwood (SOHS '97), I 'm still shocked at the idea of sushi being available here, but I am more than thrilled that Asahi is present. I 'm nursing a full belly after a great dinner. Portions are large and the quality of the seafood is excellent for what you would find in Kentucky. My mom had a huge plate of shrimp teriyaki with an excellent sauce that was not overly sweet nor overpowered the shrimp and veggies. My three sushi rolls were well crafted. Admittedly, I might have wanted a bit less sauce on my unagi roll but I 'm usually facing the other dilemma of not enough. We will definitely be back.
