Caru cu Flori - Craiova

I had to run to the next bank to get money. eat not big, not terrible, but I had to wait a lot and they had only 4 tables. lazy staff, not as clean as. they would expect from a place where they eat and the tables and chair moved like crazy because of the uneven floor.

Absolutely regrettable that they celebrate my birthday in this restaurant. I asked if a dose can bring my birthday cake and they said it's okay, but they didn't inform me that it's not allowed to use birthday cakes. That's so stupid! that is the first restaurant where I see a situation like this! I will not recommend this place!

Wednesday evening, great food against good price, full of local parties and dancing (birth party.) eating was fresh and tasteful

We stopped for dinner while passing through Craiova. We ordered traditional Romanian dishes and the house specialties. The soup portions were huge, probably 0.7 liters per person. Very tasty. The fresh baked Turkish bread was also nice. The main course were also huge. The mixed...fried plate, the smoked spare ribs, the mashed beans with fried sausages, all had plenty of side dishes and were more than enough. The service was friendly and quick enough, well paced. The only down side was the dessert the traditional pastry with sour cream and jam (papanasi) were too well done, thus not soft as they should. Also, the chocolate cake was not very chocolately, more mousse like. The prices are average for the region. Usual tip is 10%. After 6pm they have a live band and lady singer performing traditional Romanian music.

They cook traditional Romanian cuisine and every meal we ordered is great! and they play beautiful live music in the evening!
