Rebirth - Cozumel

Over priced for very very small potions….a/c doesn’t work, and service is very slow at best….was recommended by a close hotel, but save yourself and a bad experience….go somewhere else

Had a bit of a different experience than it seems others did. Our waiter seemed extremely disinterested and that we were bothering him. My father ordered the gumbo which he said was good, and the dessert was good. My husband and I both ordered the pork chop, which they recommended being cooked a specific way (I want to say medium rare, which I hadn’t really heard before but I am no pork connosieur). A very solid choice. As good as the pork chops are there, they are not as flavorful in some other places. Sazeracs are quite good, as is the gumbo. Service is great. So — if you can't get a seat at Peche or some other popular spots, this is a reasonable fallback.

Chef Ricky Cheramie breaths the soul of the south. I wish there were more stars to give. Recommended by my brother, a local business owner, it did not disappoint. From the crafted cocktails, to the perfectly cooked entrees and the most amazing desserts, “Rebirth” is what my palate experienced. Thank you, and your staff Chef Ricky, I look forward to many more returns.

Best restaurant in New Orleans! Amazing food and staff, will be back everytime I go to NOLA.
