Old No. 77 Chandlery - Cozumel

The front desk personnel is amazing! Cheerful! Helpful, even in the middle of the night on Christmas! The rooms are beautiful and rustic just like the pictures online. A Houseman was singing Christmas carols in the hallway! Ice and water machines by the elevator. The good nugget ice! Iykyk, you know. Very reasonable rates. Beds are to die for. Sleep like an adult, all night and wake up without grown-up body aches. Perfect pillows! Seriously. No reason to stay anywhere else. Loved it!

Not gonna lie we got some pretty dirty sheets after we asked them to clean our rooms on the first nights but the service and location was great

I’ve never been to a hotel where rooms have no daylight… anyhow, not a great room I got, but not everybody can get a view… I understand that the hotel has a unique history, but I still got less than what I expected for Deluxe room in terms of windows. The rest of the room was nice.

I chose this hotel based off of a Groupon. I'm pretty glad I did. The beds were comfortable. The view was nice. The price was great, especially being in the center of new orleans. I booked wrong and was freaking out because Groupon told me there was nothing they could do for me. This hotel stepped up and fixed everything. Even to the point of upgrading me to what I would consider a better room. Ignore the negative reviews. This place is great! My only complaint is that there isn't a pool. I mean … – show

Love this hotel as you get a true feel for visiting such a legendary town. They have a great nod to artist and the amazing attention to details for a unique experience in every room. And the hardwood floors are so beautiful. but this trip i made a mistake with my parking but the hotel took care of it and i cannot thank them enough. I will be back.
