Bidra med feedbackI love this restaurant! I was introduced by friends after I moved here and I've brought out of town friends here coming across the river on the ferry even to introduce them to this NOLA gem. This is a small place that doesn't take reservations, so don't show up expecting to be seated immediately. Leave your cell phone number and head across the street to the Golden Lantern for cocktails. The owner will let you know when your table's ready.Food and service are outstanding, and you can grab Crayons and draw your own Mona Lisa on the butcher paper that covers the table . If it's good enough to catch attention, it might wind up framed and on the wall!
Had a really good lasagna and cheese bread! Check out certain deserts that give a portion of proceeds to local animal rescues.
As out of town guests we received the rudest and most hostile interaction with the grumpy host we have ever experienced. He went out of his way to make us feel like second class citizens as tourists. He never said a kind or welcoming word to us, and after finding out we were from Colorado insulted us by saying we were probably all high(we certainly were not).He seemed to take pride in testing our patience as we waited over 30 minutes for a table, calling us “eager beavers” when he came to tell us our table was ready. He then remarked as he brought us water that he was surprised that our behavior was good. We finally had enough and left.New Orleans is a great town and full of friendly, helpful people. Instead of good ol’ Southern hospitality this host offered nothing but Southern hostility!
One of the most delicious Italian Food in NOLA. I luckily found this place a few years ago just exploring the city scape. It has now become a place I make a pilgrimage to everytime i'm in New Orleans. I recommend the Lasagna. It's superb and baked to perfection. The Spinach Dip is also delicious, and you can taste the higher grade of cheese in every bite. If you still have room, I recommend all the desserts.
The Host was rude and very unfriendly it was an hour wait it was festival time so I understand but it was another hour to get our food the chicken picatta was dry no sauce at all the restaurant was very hot no air at all our waitress did her best probably won't be back
