Bidra med feedbackOur family has eaten this afternoon at the plaza leza and we ordered the typical 2 for 1 frozen drinks. my friend ordered the pina colada, which was naturally mixed in one of the restaurants. at the end of the frozen drink she took. a last swallow and had what she thought to be in her mouth first. When she spit it back into the cup, we discovered that there were two shaky blades that had broken off the mixer and sat at the bottom of her drink. we have docked in cozumel as part of an MSC cruise. if she hadn't noticed and accidentally swallowed one of these sounds, the result would have been catastrophic. not only would it require medical interventions to have removed this product, it would also have severely damaged neck and like as a result. we would not have been able to return to the ship for the cruise, and it would have been a big event. Although this was not a direct reflexion on the server that helped us, he did not attempt to solve the situation positiw *and the owner*. they had the audacity after pouring out a full drink, coupled with the fact that there is a razor-sharpened mixer blade in the cup trying to calculate the full price for the meal drinks. at the end, the owner “neighed” was enough to remove one of the $6usd drinks from our bill, but offered no excuses or substantial repair for what might have been a severe medical emergency. plaza leza has been a recommended place in our family for 15 years, and that ended today. we are incredibly disappointed by the escape, as well as the owners respond to it. would definitely not recommend everyone.
Breathe here while you spend the day in cozumel. shrimp was delicious and tacos were great. highly recommended!
We have often been in cozumel and have tried several different places for drinks, but this has become our favorite. it is directly on the square and has tables outside for a pleasant view. we always order margaritas so that this rating is of limited value...for all who want a meal, but the margaritas are excellent, expensive good, and the friendly waiter always brings chips and excellent salsa too much up while we drink. we pass directly by the overpriced tourist trains at the naval pears and take the $8 taxi ride to the city for a somewhat more authentic Mexican experience.
Club sandwich and sweet tea was excellent and great service; right on the square so plenty of time to watch the crowds
Arrived at this place as it is relatively closer to the ferry terminal, seemed like a decent place, tidy, clean and attentive staff, ordered food, chicken nachos to share to start and then two chicken fajitas for mains, couple of beers and to came to...a reasonable 430 peso, add the usual tip and a 500 note is about right, happy with that.... HOWEVER we decide to stay for another drink, order a Run Rum Punch and as its two for one i SPECIFICALLY POINTED out on the menu that it was two for 85 pesos, waiter agrees and brings over two large, and very weak glasses, half an hour later i come to pay and give a 100 peso note, he states its 185 peso and he gave us large ones, i disagreed but he forcefully INSISTED we had asked for the large ones, i was NOT happy at all, however we had a ferry to catch so i threw the other 100 pesos at him and he laughed and walked away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, STAY AWAY OF YOU DONT WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF , THEY OVERCHARGE AND POUT WEAK SPIRITS IN THE DRINKS KNOWING YOUR ONLY HERE FOR A FEW HOURS, TYPICAL GRINGO PRICE PRACTICE THAT RUINS YOUR DAY, STAY AWAY!
