Bidra med feedbackMr. Sanchos was booked on the date we would arrive. So after some suggestions we decided to try paradise beach, because they responded to emails fairly quickly and they had a few good reviews. They had Nice and clean amenities, but they majorly lacked customer...service. First the check in was long, they couldn’t find the reservations. Even after showing them their QR and confirmation they still could not find it. Finally after 20 Minutes or so they found the 3 reservations we had. Then they said one hadn’t paid the deposit yet we had proof that clearly had the reservation showing a balance of 1/2 of the cost, because the other 1/2 was paid up front. They said it had not gone through. So why show send us confirmation showing 1/2 was the balance. After 35-45 minutes and having to repay, they said that once we can show them our CC statement they’ll refund it. Meanwhile everyone including 2 elderly with walkers had to wait standing (no chairs offered even though their reservation had been cleared they weren’t allowed to pass through until the other reservation got sorted out. I mentioned a few times it was our first time there and wanted to know how to order food, beach access , etc...we were escorted to Manuel (asst manager? who asked us to let him know how they did afterwards. He did try to find us a spot that worked for the elderly, but unfortunately after being held up at check in for so long all decent seating was taken. I will give Manuel credit for ensuring we had the best we could have with what was available seating wise. Our waiters were introduced and we ordered food. Food took 30 minutes to arrived. Drinks about 15 minutes. When the garlic shrimp arrived the plate literally had 2 medium sized pieces of shrimp. Shrimp cocktail was served in a flat plate. We ordered fried fish and were given grilled fish and when we brought it to the waiters attention he was argumentative that we had ordered that. Yes it’s all inclusive and you can order more, but when you constantly can’t find your waiter and when you finally get his attention it takes another 30-45 minutes to get the food. Not to mention it took 45 minutes to get an order of tortillas. Which was a hassle to order because the waiter said we could not have unless we ordered a fajitas plate that included tortillas. Finally after making him see we didn't want to throw away food we wouldn't eat just to have tortillas he said he would order it. We had two waiters but both lacked so much customer service. Both at times making noises or gestures that they were clearly irritated by the elderly requests. Then When we tried ordering at the bar we were told by our waiters we had to order drinks through them only. Later we were told by bar service that we could order through them but waitstaff doesn’t want to share tips so they tell you to order through them only. Honestly I was ready to leave this place and If it wasn’t for the awesome service provided by bartender Edgar, it would have been a terrible experience. We did try to make the best of it but Doubt we’ll be back unless something changes. Manuel did come and ask at the end what I thought. I told him with all honesty they need to step up their service. Sanchos has them beat by far. Told him Edgar (again beyond awesome and he were the only ones that truly provided great service. Edgar even saved the day for another guest there, who was also very upset and the terrible service being provided by the waiters (not sure if same as mine .
We just completed another cruise including a stop in Cozumel. Paradise Beach is a must do trip especially if your time is limited on a cruise ship in Cozumel. You can nook an all inclusive day pass or pay alacart. You will not be disappointed....Waiters and servers Miguel and Tomaso constantly ensure your needs are met. We always go to Paradise and once again it lived up to its name.
If visiting Cozumel is something you are questioning Cozumel generally was okey, all the beaches are closed for the public with condos, hotel’s, restaurant ect. So you have to have a car/bike to move around in hope of finding a beautiful beach. All depending of...how you prefer your dream beach I have to say that Cozumel was for me personally mediocre. The water at the beach where I was was scrambled:D And not like the Clearwater beach I prefer. I was dreaming about laying a hole day at the perfect beach and unfortunately it stayed a dream. Sadly for me despite my dream I was expecting so much more than having to be worried about getting a taxi for the return vs not being able to drink because of the driving. Anygays a beautiful island but if you are between places avoid spending precious time on this island. Honestly I felt I los 3 days here. Anyways i can definitely recommend Isla mujeres and holebox. Peace out! My beautiful dad and sister on the pic
To be fair, I was here with a scuba group for our surface interval, so we didn't pay entry or really stay long. The area is nice and well kept but it's rows and rows of beach chairs with no space. It's pretty much like being in front of a hotel, and include a pool area. You can read up on prices and costs in others reviews. We didn't buy anything or rent chairs. The bouncy area in the water looks fun but also an extra cost and is quite expensive. The day to visit seems to be on a Sunday when no cruise ships are in town. It was pretty empty when we were there. There seems to be some beach area off to the left of the boat pier, so I think it's possible to just pay entry and then stay on the beach and not spend money on food and drinks to keep beach chairs. People have complained that it's quite pricey for stuff there. The bathroom areas are quite clean and well kept.
Cabana Beds we’re so comfortable. Tables on the sides for drinks and a breakfast tray. The service and food was great. Close parking, taxis available on site, shopping, clean bathrooms, beautiful huge pool, with float mats and tubes. Full Bar, great drinks! Beach is wonderful,...all kinds of huge floating toys to climb on and slide down. A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR WAITERS JULIO MARTIN! We were a group of 20 plus people and they made our day great!
