Bidra med feedbackA very traditional family restaurant with excellent dining and huge portions. great service. very reasonable prices. nothing nice, but nice. on the santa catarina plaza. sitting area in free but with street front seat pleasant.
Although a limited menu is all food freshly cooked, of good quality and well seasoned. the service is very good and the wine a good quality table wine and very cheap. we felt welcome and appreciate the ambiente of this family restaurant. it is. well located on francesco souza a beautiful paved road through the centro coyoacan.
We went to the breakfast and really had the traditional Mexican aromen. the menu is short and most of it is spicy, but it is real.
My friends had heard about Las Lupitas but couldn't find it originally. We discovered it after a long day of museum-ing, and were both exhausted and hungry. We couldn't decide what to eat because in Mexico the main meal is in mid-afternoon, and the evening...menu there was limited. A tall friendly man came over to guide us, and he turned out to be the owner. We had empanadas....truly the best I have ever had, including in Argentina, a cream soup with rajas which was delicious, and some crispy dorado type tacos which had a different name. My memory is vague on the names, but it is not vague on the flavors or the service. I definitely recommend it!
Recomendado.
