Cafeteria Papalotl - Coyoacán

The owners of this place do enjoy cooking, spending all day long making uncommon, and delicious plates, drinks and desserts. It´s near the UNAM, so most customers come from there... including my daughter and sun in law; who took me once, and would like to come once a week, if I could. CASH Only.

Situated close to the University, with a brief wait outside for a table to become available, the wait was well worth it. A choice within the daily set menu, included soup with bread rolls and a chapati like pancake for a starter, lemon water with chia seeds to drinks, pasta or rice as an intermediate followed by a main, all washed down with a camomile tea or coffee. All this for £3 head (all three total bill was MXN 242). Then as we were finishing a couple of musicians came in to serenade us. This is an organic eatery, clearly popular and it was noted for its rustic feel and ambience. Service was keen, sometimes a little too keen to take your plate away before you had finished.

Es un buen lugar para comer cerca de la UNAM, no es caro, tienes muchas opciones, buen cafe. Baños unisex, ambiente universitario

Es una buena opción si estas por el casco viejo de Ciudad Universitaria, aunque si vas de 1 a 4 de la tarde, hay un mundo de gente, creo lo mejor que puedes probar es un café puma

Conocí este lugar cuando se esmeraban en servicio y sabor, ahora el servicio deja muuuucho que desear, no me quedaron ganas de volver
