TETSU Japanese dining - Cowes

Absolutely terrible: the gyozas were cooked to the point of being as hard as rocks, the edamame was served chilled, and the prices were way too high. This restaurant, in short, serves the worst Japanese food I have ever encountered, no matter the location or cost. Stay away from this place at all costs.

The edamame came out served cold, sushi fell apart, and teriyaki kids dishes were over salted. Spicy mayo was just hot sauce. Wagyu beef sushi was gristly. Gyoza were rock hard like cardboard as they were fried so much. Only good part was the chicken karaage. Not worth the $150 spent. Horrible but service was okay.

Well this places was fantastic great food and good service will be returning soon. Highly recommend for a group or couples very relax, set back from the Main Street so a bit quieter.

The staff was friendly and service was average. The sashimi and sushi was fresh and nice but as for the price it was a bit pricey! Do not expect a big portion in this restaurant.

Great place to eat. It's a little on the pricey side but really who cares when it's this good!? Meals are quite small so order a few. And make sure you get warm saki yummmmm!!
