Saltgrass Steak House - Covington

Our date night was awesome. Our server Stephanie was super nice she also made my wife's drink excellent, a Michelada. The food was delicious, the chicken breast the filet were both cooked perfectly and the fried asparagus my wife said was yummy. We will definitely be going back to that location in Covington, Louisiana.

Wow what a difference, last time we came in December the food was its usual high standard but the service was terrible so we have stayed away. First time at this location. I haven't visited one since the 1st one in New Orleans which was a horrendous experience. I was in the mood for a steak and since longhorn in the areas gone and the other options not so great I decided to give it a whirl. Located right next to Mercedes Benz in Covington. On the plus side, our waitress was great. I didn't realize it until we left, but she was also working the bar. So kudos to her. But the food was mediocre. Steaks were overdone both my medium rare and my wife's medium and the flavor had much to be desired. The bread is dry and flavorless but just good enough to eat more than one piece cause it's complimentary. You know the struggle! This was the second time we've eaten there. And I can assure you, we won't be going back.

Worst service EVER!!! 7/3/22 The waitress we had, had 4 tables (couldn't handle that many).
