Unicorn - Coventry

We ordered through uber eats, phoned up the chippy to check on the order to which they said they had not received. The uber eats app said preparing but stayed on that so we thought it wasnt coming as the chippy did not have our order. We had no other option but to cook our own food to which 30 mins later the uber eats order arrived to our astonishment as the chippy could not find the order. The food was cold, old and frankly disgusting and ruined our evening. Never again will we order through uber eats or from this chippy.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the delicious dishes at this wonderful pub. I would definitely visit again, as they also have a pool table and TV for watching football.

I went to order food at this restaurant and had to wait a long time to be served. I ordered half a roast chicken with rice and chips. When my food finally arrived, the chicken was very dry and unappetizing after just one bite. The rice seemed to be microwaved Uncle Ben's rice. The chips were okay, but nothing special. I mentioned to the waitress that the chicken was dry and the rice was not good, but she took my plate without even apologizing. I then spoke to the manager, who apologized and mentioned that they were changing management. However, I did not receive a refund or any compensation, and it seemed like they didn't really care about the poor service and food quality. I usually don't complain about food, but this experience was terrible and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The staff appeared to be doing their best, but there were not enough of them. The table was dirty and the cutlery was not clean. It is not a relaxing place with children running around, although it is suitable for families. The bar service was very slow. However, it was steak night and the steak was excellent, with no complaints.

I had a party in the horseplay area and the staff member roisin was very helpful. Due to the demand there should have been more than 1 member of staff on however she did a great job in assuring the party ran smoothly!
