Mudsharks Coffee Bar - Courtenay

This was our first visit to Courtenay, but it won't be our last. I'm looking forward to the next visit. If you are vegan, they have several options for food and drinks. The staff was friendly and answered our questions, offers suggestions. Service was... fast. The food was delicious! I had the Glory Bowl and my husband had the Mexican (chili) bowl and a oatlatte. Everything was full of taste and the coffee was great. How refreshing to find a place with many options for vegans. But you don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to eat here. Look at it! A very nice and far away downtown coffee shop with very extremely dellicious food and very hard work loyal and loving care staff with Geneva, who always like to serve their customers at any time with great smiles on their faces. I have always experienced a nice positive dinning experience at Mudsharks and revived many DCs and I will always come back there. I strongly encourage you to go to Mudsharks for a good meal and coffee. Hey, everybody calm down and have a nice day. Cheers.

Mudsharks has moved to a new location, just a few blocks to the south. It has gone from the hippy vibe to a more urban one. This is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, food quality has not improved. The croissant...sandwiches are still barely filled and need something to give more body, like salad, sprouts, tango? The Moroccan bowl was possibly the worst lunch for $12.95 I had in recent years. The soup pond remembered an Indian street rather than anything from Rabat. The black bean rice was only warm and without taste. The Mango-Chutney, again more Bombay than North African, was from a bottle. Served in a deep bowl, but hardly half full. Would like to see this dish really better made. Cous-Cous? Mint? Kardamom?

Live in front of Courtenay and have often taken a bite to eat or drink here. Vegetarian menu is great. Many options. The staff is friendly and well maintained. The duel terrace between mud and Gladstone brews is spacious and offers flexibility

That will be a white chocolate half sweet, decafe mocha with extra whip p lease, pare that with a breakfast wrap we shared and that is the perfect brunch.
