Coasters Bistro - Courtenay

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch during our road trip because we were drawn to the name. It was definitely worth it.

The food is healthy, fresh, and absolutely amazing. There is no seating available, but you can find one picnic table down the street.

This restaurant has become my go-to for takeout during my annual visits to Gravenhurst. I have had a great experience every year for the past three years.

The food is good here. Home made soup every day is great. I love the coconut prawns as well as the Red 21 salad.Food can sometimes be slow especially on a Tuesday when there are lots of people in there but the wait staff are greatI go there at least once s week for lunch usually in the lounge

Went for my first time with a buddy for breakfast. Arrived a bit earlier than my friend so got to wander around a bit and check out the casino, as the restaurant is located between the Red21 bar and the casino itself. Sat in a booth and was surprised by how isolated you feel from the casino (wouldn't have known it was there while you ate.) The breakfast menu is separate from the one on their chalkboard, so don't bother looking at the board for your breakfast options. Was very happily impressed when my meal came. I ordered the jackpot breakfast and it was like a food jackpot. 3 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 Bacon, a small ham steak, hash browns, and 2 slices of toast .... for $10.50 The waitress was friendly and on top of things, and the coffee was always full. All in all a decent first visit. Seems like the least money you'll spend in the center. Prices were reasonable and was told by my friend they have lots of specials throughout the week, and extra savings via some sort of card. I would go back and check things out further.
