Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meal. My husband opted for the soup of the day, made with chanterelle mushrooms, which came with a delicious slice of garlic bread. He found the soup to be slightly marred by the presence of meat pieces, wishing it had just contained mushrooms. For our main courses, I selected the strip loin steak with hunter sauce, which was cooked perfectly to my liking and very tasty. My husband ordered the barbecue ribs, which were tender and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, the service was excellent, and the food was of high quality. The prices were reasonable, making it a good value for the money. The only downside was the strong kitchen smells, which could be improved with better ventilation to enhance the overall dining experience.
Bisque's seafood linguine is described as fresh and plentiful. It's a mystery why Courtenay seems to have all its best restaurants hidden away on quiet side streets or in small strip malls.
