Bidra med feedbackBeware, the owner stated that she did not have a menu for Lunch and the only available dish was polenta with some meats. When asked for the price she pretended not to understand and was evasive. Ended up paying 58.50 euros for two portions of polenta with meat, 2 sparkling water and 2 coffees. We are frequent travellers to Valle d'Aosta and never paid such high prices even in much better restaurants. Unfortunately this place gives a bad name to the hospitality we have always experienced in this beautiful area of North Italy.
Only stopped for a hot chocolate, but impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and nice chocolate! Will try it for lunch next time.
We only stopped here for a coffee but could have been tempted to stay for lunch if it had been in any way appealing. It wasn't!! The staff(owners) were not very welcoming at all. The decor was stuck in a time warp and the coffee cups had seen better days. I think the coffee had also been around for a while as well as it tasted stale and I couldn't finish mine very unusual as Italian coffee is usually great. The bill was expensive mainly due to the fact that we had one sambucca which is usually cheap in Italy but not so here. If it was down to the quality and service alone, I would have marked this as Terrible but there were some positives. The place was spotlessly clean and the setting is simply stunning. With some effort, a decent chef and a smile, this restaurant has potential to be so much better than it is.
After Mount Blanche and a tour and walk through the valley we were hungry and looking for a little lunch. it is a good photo op even if the food is ho hum
Horrible costumer service. It seems they hate tourists! If you wanna get ripped off for a very average lunch, come here! Won't stop by here again.
